The 29-year-old Edmonton Oilers star player, reportedly popped the big question Thursday while vacationing in Maui.

No official wedding date has been set, however i imagine they will take some time and perhaps make it a Christmas ceremony.

Apparently Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are steaming mad about the false reports by British tabloid 'News of the World' and are going to take legal action.

The Jolie and Pitt camp are saying "The News of the World has failed to meet our clients' reasonable demands for a retraction of and apology for these false and intrusive allegations which have now been widely republished by mainstream news outlets," a lawyer working for the couple in London said in a statement. "We have advised them to bring proceedings, which they have now done."
